The Build Process
Parts are created by first laying down a thin layer of material; this being either plaster or Zcast material (moulding). For more detail refer"material"section. The print head then passes over the material placing binder onto the powder where it is bonded to the previous layer.
The chamber on the left which holds the feed material is then raised one layer thickness and is rolled over to the build chamber on the right. The print head then binds the required material together as previous, the process is repeated over and over until the model is completed.
The material that is not bonded by the print head remains in place to support the model. By doing this no added support material is required so there is no limitation regarding complexity and no time consuming support material to remove.
